Dynamic Load Balancing in Buildings and Technical Installations

How automated load prioritisation prevents overloads and improves energy use.

← Back to Knowledge Center

Overview

Dynamic load balancing measures total demand and distributes available power according to priority. It is useful where HVAC, EV charging, pumps, lighting and production loads compete for capacity.

Instead of oversizing infrastructure, the system limits or shifts non-critical loads when demand approaches a threshold. Critical loads remain protected.

The result is better utilisation of the existing electrical installation, fewer nuisance trips and clearer energy strategy.
