3D Scanning an object with Scan in a Box white light scanner, from start, to finish - importing into Geomagic Wrap, in 6 minutes.

 

 

First, the scanner is prepared and calibrated for the specific task at hand.\

Then begins the scanning process; the object is rotated so that every side is captured.

During registration, all the scans are joined to create one complete object.

After deleting points outlying points, the mesh file (.stl) is produced and imported into Geomagic Wrap.
